Designed to automatically transfer torque between the front and rear wheels with the most grip to provide maximum traction on and off-road. It will even send all the torque to a single wheel, if the system detects the other three wheels have no traction at all.

When the traffic clears, it goes back to your pre-set speed. Is it time to pump your tyres? This SUV knows. Everest’s tyre pressure monitoring system gives a pressure reading for each tyre, and alters you when a tyre’s pressure becomes low.
Everest’s rain-sensing wipers detect moisture and will automatically activate so you always have a clear view of the road, whatever the weather.
Everest’s Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®) helps monitor the traffic you can’t see. When changing lanes, indicator lights in your side mirrors let you know if there’s a vehicle in your blind spot. It also alerts you if it senses traffic coming from either direction when you’re reversing out of a parking spot or driveway.

Protection is key to your peace of mind. The airbags in the Everest provide a network of protection with front seat driver and passenger airbags and seat-mounted side airbags. Side-curtain airbags help protect everyone in the front and back. There’s even an airbag for the driver’s knee.
Everest uses three highly sensitive microphones to detect and measure engine noise, then cancels it using opposing sound waves, ensuring it’s always peaceful inside.
With up to seven comfortable seats, the ability to fit up to five child seats and the inclusion of two ISOFIX anchor points, there’s plenty of room inside the Everest to take the whole family, team or whoever’s on board, along for the ride in total comfort.

Negotiating tough slopes in Everest 4WD is simple. Hill Descent Control uses the brake system to take you downhill at a safe steady pace. Take hold of the steering wheel and the Everest takes care of the rest. On an incline, Hill Launch Assist assures you have a smooth start. Take your foot off the brake and the system holds the brake for a few seconds. Step on the accelerator, and you’re off.

For off-roaders looking for traction and grip, even in slippery or rugged terrains, the electronic locking rear differential is designed to provide full engine torque to both rear wheels, even if one is off the ground.
